James Giuliani Obituary

James “Jamie” Giuliani, 48, of North Port, Florida “formerly of Granville” passed away on May 30, 2019 with his loving family by his side at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida after a short, brave battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Clover Club in Mark.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Granville at a later date.

Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.

Jamie was born on October 18, 1970 in Spring Valley to Robert “Bert” and Cynthia (Deuth) Giuliani.

He graduated from Putnam County High School, following graduation he served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force at Grand Forks Air Force Base as security police.  After leaving the service, he worked at Hennepin Steel Mill for several years.  He then moved to Wisconsin and worked for his cousin, Dave Lipinski in construction for many years until moving to Florida where he continued to work in the construction business for 11 years until he became ill.

Jamie was an avid sports fan, especially to his favorite Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Cubs.

Jamie will be remembered for always having a smile and a heart of gold.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia Giuliani of Granville; brothers, Jeff (Angela) Giuliani of LaSalle and his brother and best friend, Jesse Giuliani of Florida; sister, Joely (Brent) Lyon of Sheffield.  Also surviving are 1 niece, 3 nephews, 1 great-niece, and 1 great nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends in Florida and the Illinois Valley area.  Jamie also leaves behind his beloved dog, Jo Jo.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father on November 22, 2018, 1 aunt, Connie in 1977, 1 great nephew and 3 cousins.
