Timothy "Chris" Linebarger

Timothy Michael "Chris" Linebarger 35, of Chicago passed away on June 29, 2019 at his residence.

There will be a private service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.  Burial will be in Granville Cemetery, Granville.                               

Timothy was born on February 10, 1984 in Birmingham, England to Richard and Dorothy (Dysart) Linebarger. He lived in Chicago, IL during childhood and adulthood, and Waukegan, IL during his late-teens and early adulthood.

He was an appreciated school bus driver and an avid fisherman of the waters of Lake Michigan. Fishing was what he lived for. He tried to make people laugh on all occasions and will be remembered as a unique and fun person. He loved nature, the woods, sudoku, and classic movies, especially Westerns. He was known by most people as Chris in adulthood, though his legal name remained Timothy.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Linebarger, sister, Sarah Linebarger, brother, David Linebarger, brother and sister-in-law, Nathan Linebarger and Oyun Linebarger and nephew, Adrian Linebarger, all of whom live in Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Linebarger in 2008 who he loved dearly.
