Wayne A. Mathison, 76 of Cherry passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Heritage Health Care, Peru.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be at a later date. Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with arrangements.

Wayne was born on July 7, 1943 in Belvidere to George and Alice (Jackson) Mathison.

He graduated high school in 1961. Wayne was a truck driver and worked for Dean’s Milk Company and Orbit Trans. He was an over the road truck driver for M.C.T. Sioux Falls, South Dakota before he retired.

Wayne is survived by his brother, David Mathison of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Mathison.
