Betsy Lou Morgan

Betsy Lou Morgan, 78, of Hennepin died, Monday, June 18, 2012 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton. Betsy was born on February 21, 1934 in Bureau to Harvey and Faye (Turpen) Lester. She married Forest Morgan on December 30, 1970 in Granville. She graduated from Bureau High School and she was a member of Eastern Star. She was a grocery clerk at Hennepin Foods and head cook at Princeton Game and Fish Club. Survivors are four sons, Thomas (Diane) Newhalfen Jr. of Lacon, Robert (Kathy) Newhalfen of Magnolia, David (Lydia) Newhalfen of Henry, Forest Morgan III of Henry; three daughters, Tamara (Robert) Schlosser of Lacon, Shelly (Troy) Ebel of Hennepin, Victoria (Jerry) Chamness of Lacon,: two sisters, Judy (Jerry) Schmitt of Henry, Mary (James) Glenn of Magnolia; twenty grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three step children. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Forest on Sept. 15, 1998 Contributions may be directed to donor's choice.

Service/Memorial Information

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Putnam Cemetery, Putnam. Dan Elberg and Rev. Tom Schrock will officiate the service. Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded.
