Our beloved mother and wife, Charlotte E Crew passed away peacefully the morning of May 8, 2025.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a private service at a later date. Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements
Charlotte was born in Kenosha, WI April 4, 1953 to Nellie (Daily) Holocker and Albert Adams. She was the proud oldest sister of 5, and when her mother remarried, Charlotte became the proud oldest sister of 10.
Charlotte married Glenn Crew and together they have shared the joys in their lives for over 50 years. Glenn will never shy away from telling you what a beauty his wife was and how she is the love of his life.
As her three children, Raymond (Julie) Crew, Angie (Rik) Strader, and Ben (Chasmin) Crew, we will always remember mom’s big laugh, her love of a good prank, and her undeniably strong will. We are so grateful she shared the best parts of herself with us.
Being a Grandma and a Great-Grandma might have been the best time of Charlotte’s life. Cody, Marley, Brandon, Kelsey, Bradlie, Kendra, and Lexi will always remember grandma’s tall tales and her hugs and kisses. Her 11 Great-grandchildren will hopefully remember her smiles, giggles, and the twinkle in her eyes when they got up to mischief.
Think of Charlotte fondly each time you hear a Cher or Bee Gees song, enjoy a sweet dessert, or hear a ridiculously outlandish story. She will love that.
