Christopher J. Marmy Jr., 29, of Varna passed away on April 3, 2024 in McNabb.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.

Christopher was born on January 29, 1995 in Winfield, IL to Christopher J. Marmy Sr. and Sharon Robin Layton. 

He was self employed and specialized in installing security systems.  He enjoyed working on cars, mud trucks and derby cars.

Survivors include his father, Chris (Kathryn) Marmy Sr. of McNabb; one brother, Michael Marmy of Tennessee; two sisters, Tanya (Paul) Branhardt of Lacon and Jessica Marmy of Tennessee; three step-brothers, Alec Burne, Ricky Pasternak and Joseph Pasternak, one step-sister, Alexis Pasternak.  He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Layton in 2005 and his grandmother, Grace Acheson and grandfather, Ernie Marmy.
