Christy Lee Ward

On November 29^th 2020, Christy Lee Ward, 60, of Magnolia left this world to enter a new world that is pain and illness free.  She passed on in her home with her beloved dog, Harley, by her side.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting with the arrangements.

Christy was born on June 22, 1960 in Spring Valley to Robert and Shirley Ann (Woolford) Hultgren.  She was married to Charles Roger Ward Jr.

Previously, she worked at Bassick’s as an assembler and at the grain elevator in Spring Valley.

Christy was a very adventurous person.  Always wanting to live life to the fullest.  She enjoyed skydiving and going to Six Flags.  She was a big family person.  She really enjoyed getting to see her nieces and nephews and being there for all the great memories in life.

Christy became a grandmother in April of 2013 and that was one of the things that made her happiest in life.  She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Taylyn, and making all sorts of lasting memories.

Christy was always willing to help when needed and be there for all of her family and friends.  She had many friends that knew that she was a great person to turn to for advice and a listening ear.

She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her husband, and her three daughters, Erika, Charlie and Cynthia.  Along with her beloved fur-baby.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son in infancy, Charles III.
