Craig W. Davis

Craig W. Davis, 55, of Hennepin, IL passed peacefully at Illinois Valley Community Hospital on Monday, January 14, 2013 in Peru, IL. He was surrounded by his loving wife and family at the time of his sudden passing. Craig was born September 28, 1957 in Peru, IL, the son of Robert "Ozzie" and Sandra (Skoworonski) Davis. Craig married Jenny Stevenson on August 7, 1976 in LaSalle, IL. They were happily married for 38 years. Craig graduated with a Masters Degree in Tool and Die Making from I.C.S. Institute. He was employed at Taylor Made Machining Inc. in Mark, IL for 15 years. He had previously worked at Ladd Tool and Die, S & S Tool and Die, where he had received his degree, and also previously worked at Machinery Maintenance. Craig is survived by his wife Jenny, son Keith (Donna) Davis of LaSalle, IL; His mother Sandra Davis of Peru, IL; Brothers, Brian (Greg) of Oglesby, IL., Brad (Denise) of Dalzell, IL., Scott and Jay of Peru, IL., Kenny of Dayton, Ohio. His sisters; Wanda of Peru, IL., Lisa, Lori of Garrettsville, Ohio. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Natashia, Samantha and Quinn, all of LaSalle, IL. Craig was preceded in death by his father Ozzie, grandparents and uncles. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Service/Memorial Information

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville. Rev Dr. Ron McNeill will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 11a.m. on Saturday at Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel.
