Dennis M. Stout

Dennis M. Stout, 64, of Hennepin passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley. Dennis was born on August 12, 1948, in Spring Valley, to Harrison and Ellen (McFarlin) Stout. He married Pam Miller on July 5, 1989 in Princeton. He graduated from Henry High School in 1966 and attended IVCC. He was a material expediter of operations at L.T.V. Steel Mill in Hennepin from 1967 to 2009. He was an avid golfer, Cubs fan and duck hunter. Survivors are his wife Pam of Hennepin; two daughters, Patrice (Dennis) Stadler of Madison, Wisconsin and Sonya (Jeff) Baran of Normal; two brothers, Gary Stout of Lebanon, Tennessee and Dave (Denise) Stout of Henry; seven grandchildren, Marissa, Ashley, Hannah, Shelby, Tanner, Lucas, Savoy and one great grandson Jude; his aunt and uncle, Butch and Betty Stout of Henry and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his in-laws Jim and Eleanor Miller of Princeton. He will also be missed by his beloved cat (Miss Kitty). He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Sue Carr. Memorials may be directed to First Congregational Church of Bureau, Hennepin United Methodist Church or Friends of Strays.

Service/Memorial Information

Memorial Service will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Pastor Jack Stites and Pastor Carol Stufflebeam will officiate the service. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
