Edward Neal McMillan

Edward Neal McMillan, 96 of Mark died on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his daughter's home. Edward was born on March 3, 1916 in Milton, Iowa to Charles and Effie (Sangham) McMillan. He married Beverly Jane Smith on September 28, 1944 in Keosaqua, Iowa. She passed away on February 27, 2007. He graduated from Birmingham High School. Edward served in the United States Army during WWII, while serving as a medic, he was a silver star recipient for his actions on October 20, 1943. Ed was an electrician and was a 65 year member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Surviving is one son, Neal "Butch" McMillan of Florida and one daughter Linda VonDrehle of Mark, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Private graveside service will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
