Edwin "Dale" Siegman, 73, of McNabb, died absent from the body, present with the Lord, on Monday, November 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born in rural Magnolia on June 5, 1940 to George and Marie (Russell) Siegman. He married Mary Rebecca "Becky" McGhiey on April 11, 1998 in rural Hennepin. Dale was a self-employed carpenter and truck driver. He was a member of and served as an elder for Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Lacon. He loved caring for his family. As an excellent horseman, Dale enjoyed training and farriering our horses. He was a founding member of Putnam County Trailriders. He is survived by his wife, Becky of McNabb, IL; two sons, Bill (Shelley) Siegman of Hawaii and Jeff (Crystal) Siegman of Texas; three daughters, Michelle Siegman-Blackburn of Bradford, IL, Celeste (Richard) Siegman-Herren of Arkansas and Celyna (Joe) Richard of Louisiana; two step-children, Kerry (Bob) Richard Fisher of Metamora, IL and Rex (Amy) Richard of Metamora, IL; two brothers, Eugene (Darlene) Siegman and Lawrence Siegman both of Magnolia, IL; one sister, Linda Holz of Varna and thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister-in-law, Pat Siegman and one brother-in-law, Bill Holz. Contributions may be directed to Putnam County Ambulance or St. Jude. Pallbearers will be Bob Fisher, Richard Herren, Joe Richard, Rex Richard, Bill Siegman and Gene Siegman.
Service/Memorial Information
Services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Visitation will be prior to services from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Rev. Lyall Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery, Wenona.
