Eleanor Bruch Obituary

Eleanor L. Bruch 96, of Granville passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Henry Healthcare, Henry.

Private Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the UCC Church, Granville.  Rev. Dr. Ron McNeill will officiate.  Burial will be in Granville Cemetery, Granville.

Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family.

Eleanor was born on January 29, 1924 in Putnam County to T. Oscar and Katherine (Miller) Fiedler.  She married Roy Bruch on May 9, 1943 in LaSalle.  He preceded her in death on March 21, 1984.

She was a bookkeeper for Co-op and Goodyear in Granville and she was a homemaker.  Eleanor was a member of the Granville United Church of Christ, the Women’s Fellowship, American Legion Granville Auxiliary Post #180, the Homemaker’s Extension and Putnam County Achievement Services.  Eleanor was also Sunday School Superintendent.

She was also a recipient of the Ageless Achievers Award.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia West of Bayfield, Colorado; four sons, Ron (Suzanne) Bruch of Granville, Kenneth (Barbara) Bruch of Granville, Henry (Ida) Bruch of McNabb and Gary (Cyndy) Bruch of Magnolia; nine grandchildren, Tanya West Skelton, Brenna West Kampf, Dan Bruch, Kevin Bruch, Jennifer Bruch, Kathleen Bruch, Shawna Bruch Lowrance, Katie Bruch Main and Chris Bruch; 15 great-grandchildren, Alex Skelton, Brendan Skelton, Reed Kampf, Brook Kampf, Nicholas Bruch, Emily Bruch, Owen Bruch, Emmett Bruch, Isla Bruch, Toby Lowrance, Nehemiah Lowrance, Kayden Lowrance, Miles Main, Emmett Main and Mason Bruch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Doris Ackerman and two brothers, Myles Fiedler and Kenneth Fiedler.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Granville United Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Bruch, Kevin Bruch, Chris Bruch, Erik Main, Brian Lowrance and Toby Lowrance.
