Eleanore Loebach, 87, of Granville passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley. Eleanore was born Feb. 12, 1926 in Peru, IL the daughter of Stanley and Victoria (Daniel) Stopa. She attended LaSalle -Peru High School and was an assembler at Westclox Corp. She married Charles H Loebach on July 5, 1952. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was an avid fan of her grandchildren's athletics and activities. Survivors include her husband Charles H. Loebach of Granville, two sons, Charles (Nancy) of Granville and Lawrence (Jolene) Loebach of Hennepin; two daughters, Christine Stillson of Oak Park, and Laura (David) Weiden of Oglesby. Also surviving is one sister Dolly (Dick) Foltynewicz of Tonica, and seven grandchildren, Dr. Jillian Phelps, Heidi and Rebecca Loebach, David and Daniel Weiden, and Seana and Christopher Stillson. Eleanore was preceded in death by one sister, Mary DeBernardi and one brother, Eugene Stopa. Pallbearers will be Jim DeBernardi, David Weiden, Danny Weiden, Christopher Stillson, Tony Phelps, Kerry Stopa, Gary Foltynewicz and Tony Loebach.
Service/Memorial Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Granville. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. with the recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. at the Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville. Additional visitation will be Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. in funeral chapel.
