Elizabeth Karl

Elizabeth Karl, 88, of Geneseo, IL passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Hillcrest Home in Geneseo. Elizabeth was born on March 9, 1924 in Morgantown, West Virginia to Steve and Elizabeth (Folicki) Ambrose. She graduated from Morgantown High School, West Virginia. She was a key punch operator at Standard Oil Co. in Cleveland, OH and she also worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Cleveland. She was a member of the Lions Club in Florida and past president of Murry Hills in Florida. Survivors are one daughter, Lillian Baxter (Wayne) Minor of Atkinson; two grandchildren, Laura (Pete) Galvin of Monee and Donald (Diane) Baxter of Granville; four great-grandchildren, Zach, Brandon, Vanessa and Anna; two great-great-grandchildren, Carter and Kynzie and one sister, Ethel Zarobila. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Steve, John and Joe and one sister, Helen.

Service/Memorial Information

Private Service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with arrangements.
