Emagene Charlotte Sulmonetti, 93, of Hennepin, IL passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence of three years in Greenfield Retirement Home in Princeton.

Emagene finally was able to relax and spend her last three years at Greenfield.  She made many friends who loved and cared for her.  She was extremely involved in all of the activities offered to her.  Her family jokingly referred to her as the "Ambassador/Mayor of Greenfield.  Her final years there offered her joy and contentment.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, two sisters, two brothers and son-in-law, Douglas Campbell.

Emagene is survived by two daughters, Janda (Frank) Nordstrom and Vicki (Jim) Duncan; one son, Douglas (Susan) Sulmonetti.  She has six grandsons, Garrick, Blake (Jill), Brady (Jana) Nordstrom, Keenan, Kwynn (Whitney), Douglas Campbell, two granddaughters, Karissa (Joel) Hopkins, and McKlaire (Ypo) Salinas, five step grandchildren, Max, Bird, Moose Duncan, Lisa (Keith) Grant, and Jill Irvin.  Emagene had 11 great grandchildren, Avery, Rhett, Evelyn, Mara, Leah Nordstrom, Aden Robinson, Murphy and Knox Hopkins, Joey and Niko Campbell, Lux Salinas and four step great grandchildren, Emma and Claudia Johnson and Jackson and Sam Baas.
