Ethel I. Bleull, 82, of Ladd (formerly of Magnolia) passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at her residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Hennepin. Fr. Patrick DeMeulemeester will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
Ethel was born on October 10, 1938 in Varna to Robert L. and Nora May (Epley) Martin. She married Robert J. Bleull.
Ethel worked for the Putnam County School District where she was the cook at John Swaney School for 13 years until she retired. She also worked at Westclox for four years.
She was an avid gardener and canned many of the vegetables that grew in her garden. Ethel was a big Cubs Fan also.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph (Judy) Bleull of Leesburg, Virginia and Tony (Kristin Otto) Bleull of Oak Park, IL; one daughter, Laura (Jim) Hassler of Ladd and 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Joseph; two granddaughters, Jamie and Jennifer Bleull and one great-grandson, Angelo Gensini.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Matthew Hassler, Michael Bleull, Ryan Bleull, Steven Bleull, Bradley Bleull, Victor Gensini, Josh Baugher and Pat Luchini.
