George "Lonnie" Siegman, 71, of Magnolia died on February 4, 2014 at Heartland Health Care Center, Henry. He was born on April 3, 1942 in Streator to George and Marie (Russell) Siegman. He married Patricia Frye on July 19, 1980 in Magnolia. She passed away October 31, 2013. He graduated from John Swaney High School. He worked for Streator Times Press and Ottawa Daily News delivering newspapers until his retirement. He was a member of Henry Baptist Church and a former member of Magnolia Township board. He loved listening to his scanner and talking about family history and local history. Surviving are one brother, Gene (Darlene) Siegman of Magnolia; one sister, Linda Holz of Varna; two sister-in-laws, Becky Siegman of McNabb and Paula (Glenn) Feddericke of Hennepin; two brother-in-laws, David (Jeanette) Frye of Henry and Dan Frye of Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dale Siegman on November 25, 2013 and one brother-in-law Bill Holz. Pallbearers will be Bill Holz, David Frye, Keith Barth, Alan Siegmann, Glenn Holz and Dusty Feddericke. Contributions may be directed to Illinois Cancer Care or Henry Baptist Church.
Service/Memorial Information
Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Joshua Wasson will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
