Gerald Lee Perzee

Gerald Lee Perzee, 67 of Magnolia, died on Tuesday, July 22. 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. He was born on April 17, 1947 in Kankakee to Ralph and Bernice (Saxsma) Perzee. He married Brenda Heller on July 24, 1982 in Danforth, IL. He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 in Germany. He was a truck driver for ZTL & CF. He was a member of Magnolia American Legion. He was a past member of the Teamsters Local 522, LaSalle. Survivors include his wife Brenda of Magnolia: four sons, David (Angela) Edwards of Casper, WY, Wayne (Tiffany) Perzee of Gulfport, MS, Ryan Perzee of Oshkosh, WI and Gerry (Nikki) Perzee of Columbus, NC; two daughters, Paula (Russ) Lawse-Trayling of Oshkosh, WI and Tena (Manny) Rodriquez of Redgranite, WI; three sisters, Norma (Ronald) Koerner of Chatsworth, IL, Linda (Roger) Zehr of Flanagan, IL and Effie (Paul) Moore of Burbonnaise, IL; one brother David (Marilyn) Perzee of Gilman, IL; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, LeRoy and Peter. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the family.

Service/Memorial Information

Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Crossroads Community Church, Magnolia, with military honors. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Crossroads Community Church, Magnolia. Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements
