Janet L. Pecchio, 90, of Granville passed away on February 7, 2026 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Peru.
There will be a private service held at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Pastor Karen Karczewski will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
Janet was born on October 14, 1935, in Deer Park Township, LaSalle County to Nelson and Clara Ozella (Doty) Keen. She married Gerald Pecchio on December 3, 1958.
She graduated from Hopkins High School. Janet worked at Westclox, then as a bank teller. She was a cook for Putnam County Schools for 24 years.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ and sang in the church choir, she was also a member of the Sweet Adeline’s choir. Janet enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and crafting.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Pecchio; son, Donald (Deborah) Pecchio and their daughter, Kim Pecchio; daughter, Kim (Steve) Didier and their children, Jeremy, Billy, Jake Didier, Karlee Damhauser and Jori Briarton son, Patrick (Soha) Pecchio; son, Michael Pecchio and daughters, Isabella and Grace Pecchio;; six great-grandchildren, Charles and Sophia Didier, Kaylee and Payton Damhauser and Amelia and Samuel Briarton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Sue Martin, Doris Russ and Renee Miller and four brothers Bob and Jim Keen, and two infant brothers.
