Joel nació en Perú ah Jesús y Patricia (Uriostigue) Rangel el 10 de diciembre de 2004.

Se graduó de la escuela secundaria del condado de Putnam en la promoción de 2023. Era estudiante y trabajaba a tiempo parcial en Unify Warehouse.

A Joel le gustaba pescar, jugar fútbol, ​​tomar fotografías, dibujar y pintar. También era corredor de atletismo, jugaba fútbol y béisbol.

Joel Jesus Rangel, 19, of Granville passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in Peru, IL.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel 208 S. McCoy St. Granville, IL.  There will be a Biblical discourse at 7:00 p.m.

Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville.  Burial will be in Granville Cemetery following the service.

Joel was born in Peru to Jesus and Patricia (Uriostigue) Rangel on December 10, 2004. 

He graduated from Putnam County High School in the class of 2023.  He was a student and worked part time at Unify Warehouse.

Joel enjoyed fishing, playing soccer, taking pictures, drawing and painting.  He was also a track runner, played football and baseball.

He is survived by his father and mother, Jesus and Patricia Rangel; his maternal grandmother, Maria Eugenia; two brothers, Joshua and Ivan Rangel; his uncle, Rafael Rangel and numerous aunts and uncles.
