Joseph Gusick Obituary

Joseph K. "Nipper" Gusick 47, of Granville passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his residence. Joe was born on August 11, 1967 in Spring Valley to Joseph and Donna (Koch) Gusick. He graduated from Putnam County High School and was a factory worker at Mennie's Machine Company, Granville. Joe was a member of NRA, Duck's Unlimited, Lake Wildwood and Lake Thunderbird. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Joe loved the Cubs and he loved his dog "Dude". Surviving is one brother, Tim (Brenda) Gusick of Streator; two sisters, Carol (Shawn Alumbaugh) Smith of Bloomington and Cheryl Gusick of Bloomington; one niece, Laura (Ryan) Earps of Florida and one nephew, Daniel Gusick of Lacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, paternal and maternal grandparents and uncles. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to his family. Service/Memorial Information

Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Pastor Karen Karczewski will officiate. Burial will be in Granville, Cemetery, Granville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
