Juanita Bogner, 80 of Granville died on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Juanita was born on May 17, 1934 in Granville to Frank and Nelinda (Borri) Castagnoli. She married Kenneth "Sonny" Bogner on April 23, 1955 in Granville. She graduated from Hopkins High School class of 1952. Juanita attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria and graduated in 1955. Juanita was an R.N. and worked for Dr. Davito and Spring Valley Nursing Center. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a 4-H Leader, a Girl Scout Leader, a CCD teacher and coordinator and director of the worship Choir. Survivors include two sons, Joe Bogner of Florid and Jim Bogner of Granville; two daughters Diane (Larry Morse) Cecil of Rochelle and Nancy (Dave) Kobus of Bloomington; one brother, Bob (Anneliese) Castagnoli of Granville; one brother-in-law, Gene (Joan) Bogner of Billingham, Washington; one sister, Fran (John) Wolfe of St. Paul, Minnesota; sister-in-law, Jerry (Vern) Fier of Davenport, Iowa; ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1992, daughter-in-law, Lori in 2008, one brother and sister-in-law, Nildo and Rita Castagnoli and one niece, Carol Windt and special cousin, Dindy Biagini. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Putnam County Ambulance Service or Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be TJ Chesnut, Roger Teel, Andrew Cecil, David Bogner, Brian Bogner and Jason Kobus. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Bogner and Ty Cornmesser. Prayers will be at 10:00 a.m. at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville on Friday, May 8, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Granville. Fr. Patrick DeMeulemeester will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Granville. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m.
