Kristi M. Biagi

Kristi Biagi, 78, of Hennepin passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Kristi was born on April 12, 1945 in Rosendal, Norway to Einar and Brita (Vevik) Hoyland.  She and her family moved to the United States when Kristi was 7 years old in 1952.  Together as a family they worked very hard to learn English and proudly became United States citizens.

Kristi married Bill Biagi on January 4, 1974 in Hennepin.  She graduated from ISU with a degree in education and taught elementary school for several years before joining her husband on the family dairy farm.  Later she worked as a librarian in Hennepin at the Putnam County Library a job which she truly enjoyed.

Survivors include her son, Brian Biagi of Hennepin; one sister, Sigrunn (Ken) Doran of Bloomington; sister-in-law, Kathy Hoyland of Bloomington; nephew, Ray Wink of McNabb; nieces, Tonja Davis of Bloomington, Kristi McEneaney of Naperville, Tonni Wink of Granville, Robin Pearson of East Dubuque; great-nephews, Chandler Davis, Jake McEneaney, Ryan Wink, Matthew Wink, and Bradley Wink; great nieces, Kelse Beeri, Sienna McEneaney, Courtney Burcar, Megan Wink and Lily Wink.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Biagi in 2004; brother, Leif Hoyland; nephew, Ron Wink and niece, Becky Dabler.

Pallbearers will be Ray Wink, John Biagi, Joe Nicoli, Matthew Wink, Bradley Wink and Megan Wink.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken Doran and Warren Grant.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Putnam County Community Center, Hennepin Fire Department or the family.
