Kristine Huffstodt

Kristine (Nordmann) Huffstodt, 48, beloved wife and mother, went to her heavenly home on Friday, September 21, 2012. Kristine was born on July 12, 1964 at Breese, IL, but lived in Fairfield most of her life. As a hairdresser she worked at Red Carpet, and was a manager of Spurgeon Hair Care, Fairfield, IL. When she married, she moved to LaSalle, IL and worked at Spurgeon's in Princeton, IL, Total Image in Peru and Team One Hair Design in LaSalle, IL. Surviving members of Kris's family include her husband, Thomas Huffstodt, sons, Jackson age 15, and Maxwell age 12, all of McNabb, IL.; her parents, Ken and Theresa Nordmann of Fairfield, IL; sisters Karen (R.Dane) Gale and daughters Madeline and Hilary of Millstadt, IL, Kathleen (Chris) Hoover and children Addison, Ryland and Jennifer of Magnolia, AR; brothers, Brian (Karen) Nordmann and children Jacob and Emily of Willmington, Claire (Jeff Grosso) and daughter Genevieve of Momence, IL and Keith Nordmann (Claire) and sons Kyle and Cole of Belleville, IL. Memorials. may be directed to the children's education fund.

Service/Memorial Information

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Fr. Patrick DeMeulemeester will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial gathering will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
