Larry "Muscle's" D. Black

Larry “Muscle’s” D. Black, 82 of Ohio, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 30. 2026 at O.S.F. Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL.

Arrangements are pending with Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel 208 S. McCoy St. Granville, IL.

Larry was born on November 10, 1943 in Princeton to Alger and Jayne (Stevens) Black.

Larry was an assistant at the Body Shop in Walnut, IL.  He loved watching Nascar and going to circle track races and drag races with his brothers.  Larry also enjoyed working on cars and tractors.

Survivors include his two brothers Mike (Vicki) Black of Hennepin, IL and Tom (Linda Demay) Black of New Bedford, IL; one sister, Sue (Terry) Chaon of Ladd, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steve Black, aunts and uncles.
