Lucille Wyatt

Lucille Wyatt, 81, of Spring Valley passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Spring Valley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.

Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the funeral home with a service to follow at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Hennepin.

Lucille was born on November 5, 1942 in Joliet to Aaron Vernon and Ila Mae (Briner) Walter. 

She graduated from Hennepin High School and worked at Bassik’s and Ekas.  She enjoyed traveling, baking, playing cards and bingo.  Lucille loved her dog “Bella”.

Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Ely of Spring Valley and Kathy Miller of Clinton, Iowa; two brothers, Jim (Pat) Walter of Mark and Dennis (Sandy) Walter of Granville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Albert “Red” Walter and two sons-in-law.
