Martha P. Boekeloo

Martha P. Boekeloo, 97, of Hennepin, IL, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley, IL. Martha was born August 8, 1915 in Halls, Tennessee, the daughter of Maurice Thomas and Molly Malissa (Powell) Jordan. She married Fred Boekeloo and was a homemaker. Survivors are one son, Jerry and Dianne Boekeloo of Hennepin, IL; two daughters, Darlene and Scott Abbot of New Baltimore, Michigan, and Barbara Gibson of Cripple Creek, Colorado; one sister, Margaret Lee of Dyersburg, Tennesee. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred in 1998; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to St. Jude.

Service/Memorial Information

Memorial services will be held at the Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville, IL on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at 6 p.m. Cremation rites have been accorded. Internment of remains will be buried on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 in Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL. at 11 a.m.
