Mary Helen Wallin

Mary Helen (Lunn) Wallin, 83, of Granville passed away on August 10, 2023 at Allure of Peru.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17. 2023 at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel 208 S. McCoy St. Granville.

Service will be at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home.  Rev. Gregory Jarzombek O.S.B. will officiate the service.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic  Cemetery at a later date.

Mary was born on March 3, 1940 in Oglesby to Anton and Clara (Harczynski) Bunzell.  She married Jack "Red" Lunn on February 18, 1958 and her second marriage was to Perry Wallin on August 19, 2000.

She graduated from LaSalle- Peru High School in the class of 1957.

She worked at Beltone Hearing Center until she retired in 2002.  Mary was a member of the United Church of Christ in Granville.  She was on the Benevolent Committee at United Church of Christ and also worked at the Putnam County Food Pantry.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth J. Lunn, Mark A. (Tina) Lunn and Craig S. (Laura-Soens) Lunn; one daughter, Michele A. “Missy” (Chuck) George; sister, Sally Tostovarsnik of Oglesby; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; stepsons, Scott Wallin, Mark Wallin and Timothy Wallin and four step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jack "Red" Lunn and  second husband, Perry in 2015; two brothers, Frank Bunzell and Joseph Bunzell; two sisters, Elizabeth Doty and Patricia Cannon.
