Michael O. Hamilton

Michael O. Hamilton, 53 of Henry died Monday, October 27, 2014 in Hennepin. Michael was born on July 26, 1961 in Peoria to Gerald and Margaret (Gienow) Hamilton. He served in the United States Coast Guard. Michael was a self employed truck driver and he also farmed for many years in the area. He was also an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Stansell of Henry; one son, Dylan Hamilton of Granville; two brothers, Alan Hamilton of Hennepin and Mark (Nora) Hamilton of Mark and special friend, Vera of Hennepin. Michael was preceded in death by his father and cousin, Andy Gienow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Service/Memorial Information

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Hennepin. Fr. Patrick De Meulemeester will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Henry at a later date. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Hennepin. Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
