Nicholas "Nick" Trahd, 63 of Princeton, died on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Delnor Hospital, Geneva. Nick was born on March 29, 1952 in Spring Valley to Raymond and Bernice (Wenning) Trahd. He served in the United States Navy in Vietnam. Nick was a self employed coin dealer and he was a huge animal supporter. Survivors are one sister, Linda (William) Smidl of Elgin; one brother Loren (Joan) Hill of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Natalie Jaeger and Stephanie Martin; former wife, Debbie Pinter and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard Centner and Howard Hill. Service/Memorial Information
Service will be on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mausoleum in Granville Cemetery. Granville American legion will conduct full military honors. Cremation rites have been accorded. William Ellena will officiate Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
