Perry Edwin Wallin

Perry E. Wallin, 79, of Granville, died on Friday, March 20, 2015 at his residence. Perry was born on June 5, 1935 in Granville to Edwin and Nellie (Sparling) Wallin. He married Carol Faletti on October 8, 1960 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville and she passed away on May 18, 1994. He married Mary Helen Bunzell-Lunn on August 19, 2000 at United Church of Christ in Granville. He was a retired laborer and a member of Laborers International Union of N. America for over 50 years. Perry was a member of Granville United Church of Christ. Perry was a loving father and husband. He loved to play euchre with his family and friends. Perry also enjoyed fishing and camping. Surviving is his wife, Mary Helen Wallin of Granville; three sons, Scott Wallin of Peru, Mark Wallin of Peru and Tim Wallin of Granville; three step-sons, Kenneth Lunn, Mark (Tina) Lunn and Craig (Laura) Lunn; one step-daughter, Missy (Chuck) George; three sisters, Marie Jeffrey of Granville, Evelyn Burress of Granville and Geraldine (Don) Sickley of Streator; one, sister-in-law Kathleen Wallin of Ottawa; four grandchildren, Ty, Kristi, Cody and Tanner Wallin and 11 step-grandchildren, Kenny, Jenell, Sam, Zach, Colton, Blake, Taylor, Haley Lunn and Samantha, Billy and Michael George. Also surviving, is his dog and best friend (Jenny). He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; brothers, Gerald Wallin and Kenneth Wallin; sister,Vickie Falleti and a brother and sister, (they were twins that died at birth) Robert and Roberta. Service/Memorial Information

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Service will be at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Rev. Dr. Ron McNeill will officiate. Cremation rites to follow service. Burial will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Granville.
