Randall “Randy” Joseph Massino, 54, of Birchwood, Wisconsin and Hennepin, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Barron, Wisconsin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hennepin. Father Patrick DeMeulemeester will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hennepin.
Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
Randy was born on June 3, 1967 in Spring Valley to Joseph and Johanna (DiGiacinto) Massino. He was married to Cynthia Garcia on October 3, 1992 at Saint Patrick’s Church in Hennepin, Illinois.
Randy graduated from Putnam County High School in 1985, and continued his education at Rockford College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Randy played baseball, where he was awarded male athlete of the year. His team was first team all conference.
Randy started with his company, Amentum, as Director of Operations in 2006, and went on to retire as the Vice President of Business Development in 2019.
Randy enjoyed the outdoors. He spent his last years of life at his cabin in Birchwood, WI doing the activities he loved. Hunting, fishing, and boating, to name a few. Randy enjoyed spending time with his loving family; wife, Cindy and daughter, Julia. Randy and Cindy spent their lives raising Julia in Hennepin, IL before moving full-time to Birchwood, WI. Just before Randy’s passing, he was able to see Julia marry Derek Yuhas at Saint Patrick’s Church in Hennepin.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Massino of Birchwood, Wisconsin; daughter, Julia (Derek) Yuhas of Hennepin, Greg (Pam) Massino of South Beloit, Illinois, and nieces and nephew, Mallory, Melissa, and Mitchell Massino.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Joe and Johanna Massino.
