Ronald W. Wink

Ronald "Ron" W. Wink, 48, of Granville, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, LaSalle. Ron was born on September 16, 1965 in Spring Valley to Ron and Anna (Biagi) Wink. He married Tonni Ward on September 19, 1992. He farmed and was an active member of the P.C. FFA Alumni, and Ab's Hunt Club. Ron loved his family, farming, hunting and his friends. His smile and laughter were his signature trademark. He was a diesel mechanic for Illinois Cement Company, Oglesby and was a partner in Moronts Valley Farms, Hennepin. Survivors include his wife, Tonni of Granville; his parents, Ron and Anna Wink of Granville; five children, Ryan of Varna, Courtney of Florida, Matthew, Megan, and Bradley at home; granddaughter, Emma: an honorary son, Richard; one brother, Ray (Sherry) Wink of McNabb; Robin (Pete) Pearson of Iowa and Becky (Mike) Dabler of Indiana; cousin, Brian Biagi and Aunt Kristi Biagi. He was preceded in death by two uncles, Bill Biagi and Ray Wink, and his grandparents. Contributions may be directed to the family.

Service/Memorial Information

Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. An additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the funeral home.
