Sandra J. LaMour

Sandra J. “Sandy” LaMour, 78, of Mark passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at LaSalle County Nursing Home, Ottawa.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel, 208 S. McCoy St. Granville, IL.  A service will be held at the funeral home following the visitation.  Rev. Dr. Ron McNeill will officiate.  Cremation rites have been accorded.

Sandy was born on July 12, 1944, in Dubuque, Iowa to Arthur and Helen (Prochaska) Clarkson.  She graduated from East Dubuque High School, and married Ron LaMour on October 24, 1964.  She was employed by Granville Drug Store, Proctor & Gamble and Kimberly Clark. 

Sandy was known for her vibrant personality and zest for life.  She loved spending time at the beach at Lake Wildwood, vacationing in Florida and Mexico, and visiting with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Ron LaMour of Mark; two sons, Steve (Meesha) LaMour of Wellington, FL and Jeff (Christine) LaMour of Cedar Park, TX;  three sisters, Kimberly Bonifas of Balsam Lake, WI, Ardia Neves of Houston, TX and Stephanie Ward of Balsam Lake, WI; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Thomas, Bryanna, Cheyenne, Alek and Gabi LaMour. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
