Shirley Muna Crews

Shirley "Muna" Crews, 85 of Standard, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Shirley was born on September 14, 1929 in Standard, to Harry and Elizabeth (Bean) Barnes. She married Allen Crews on October 9, 1954 in Granville. Shirley was born and raised in Standard and she and her husband also raised their daughter in Standard. She was a homemaker and loved cooking for her family and friends. Surviving is one son-in-law, Doug (the late Lisa) Seibert of Oswego; one brother, Ray (Marge) Barnes of Standard; one sister, Lucille Data of Ladd; two grandchildren, Kayla Seibert of Granville and Collin Seibert of Oswego and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, brothers and sisters. Contributions may be directed to the Standard Fire Department. Serivce will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Pastor Karen Karczewski will officiate. Burial will be in Granville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
