Terrill “Terry” Wayne Glenn, 79, of Magnolia passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at home with his loving family by his side.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at McNabb Fire Station, McNabb. IL
Celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon following the visitation at McNabb Fire Station. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
Terry was born on May 12, 1946 in Spring Valley to Dawson “Tony” and Angelina (Renini) Glenn. He married Mary Kudrick on February 11, 1995 at the Quaker Meeting House in McNabb, IL.
He was a self employed farmer and owned and operated Glenn Trucking Company.
Terry was a member of the Magnolia Fire Department and a member of the State of Illinois “Snow Bird” crew. He was also road commissioner for Magnolia Township.
He was a Cleveland Indian and Green Bay Packers fan his whole life. He was on the first Miller High Life Tug of War team and the Magnolia slow pitch softball team. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drinking beer with his many friends.
Survivors include his wife Mary Glenn; one son, Andrew Dawson (Jennifer) Glenn; three daughters, Laurie Lu Glenn, Krystal Nicole (Bart) Vaughn and Megan Marie (Alex) Tarr; one brother, James “Jim” (Mary) Glenn; special angel, RuthAnn Nelson; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Anthony Glenn at birth, son, Stewart Allen Glenn and daughter, Tricia Ann Glenn.
