Triestina "Tina" Vulcani

Triestina "Tina" Vulcani, 97 formerly of Standard passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Spring Valley Nursing Center, Spring Valley. Tina was born on August 3, 1915 in Italy to Frank and Angelina (Camatti) Adani. She married Armando "Willie" Vulcani on March 2, 1954 in Italy. She and her husband, Willie owned and operated Willie and Tina Tap in Standard, where Tina was also the cook. She was the cook at Standard Grade School for many years and she worked at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in the housekeeping department. Surviving are many nieces and nephews, granddaughter Sara and relatives in Italy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willie and step-son James "Jimmy" Vulcani. Contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Steve Tonioni, Frank Vulcani, Lee Boedigheimer, Josh Boedigheimer, and Roger Vulcani.

Service/Memorial Information

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Patrick DeMeulemeester will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Granville. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
