Virginia Harmon

Virginia Harmon, 97, formerly of Granville, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Heritage Manor, Peru. Virginia was born on December 9, 1917 in Chicago to Walter and Mary Anne (Lewicki) Kwiatkowski. Virgina was involved in social work in the Chicago area, advertising for Chicago Tribune and was Executive Director of the Chicago Theater Guild. She retired as secretary for Holy Family School in Oglesby at the age of 74. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Granville. Surviving is her daughter, Pat (Larry) Radochonski of Peru; four grandchildren, Mark Harmon, Marlo Marroquin, Renae Peterson, and Gina Moats and nine great-grandchildren. Service/Memorial Information

Service will be at 12 noon on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Fr. Patrick DeMeulemeester will officiate. Burial will in Peru City Cemetery, Peru. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. There will be an additional visitation from 11 to 12 noon on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Dysart - Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
