William "Bill" Migliorini Obituary

William “Bill” J. Migliorini, 85, went to be with Jesus on November 14, 2021 with his loving wife and children by his side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Granville.  Fr. Patrick De Meulemeester will officiate.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with full military honors.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service at the church.

Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.  The family would appreciate it if everyone would wear a face mask, if you don’t have one we will supply you with one.

Bill was born on July 4, 1936 at home to Ameday and Margaret (Novak) Migliorini.  He married Evelyn “Jane” Keyt on August 6, 1960 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville.

Bill loved his wife and his family with all his heart.  Bill knew no stranger.  He loved to visit with everyone and wanted to know everything about them.  He loved having grandkids and great-grandkids around his home at all hours of the day and night.

Bill graduated from Hopkins High School the class of 1954.  He served in the United States Army from 1955 – 1957.  He worked at Henry Chevy Garage and helped Deno Orlandi pump gas when he was in high school.   Bill was an electrician and started working at Mascal Electric in DeKalb.  In 1966 he went to work for Tri Town Electric until retirement.  He was a member of the electrician’s Union (IBEW) #176 for 42 years.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jane and five children; Bill (Cindy) Migliorini, Ken (Robin) Migliorini, Amy (Craig) Jessen, Lori (Rich) Casey and Michael (Angie) Migliorini; grandchildren, Craig (Bailey) Jessen, Roselyn (Josh) Koch, Jeremy (Tiffany) Jessen, JoAnn (Shawn) Ryan, Samantha Casey, Katie (Brandon) Mennie, Cody (Kati) Jessen, Kendra (Kevin) Mertel, Stephen Migliorini, Shelby Casey, Joseph (Christine) Migliorini, Ryan Migliorini, Josh Jessen and Jake Migliorini: great-grandchildren, Jack and Evelyn, Jace and Carter Jessen, Mylo, Kenneth and Oliver Mertel, Albie and Leni Ryan, Lucy Mennie and one on the way.  Also surviving are two brothers, Ron (Marlene) Migliorini of Minooka, Raymond (Barb) Migliorini of Plano; one sister, Margie Lenhausen of Utica and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Mylo and Florence Keyt; brother-in-law, Gary Lenhausen; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, John and Nell Obermiller.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
