Wilma E. Kneebone, 80 of Granville passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her residence in Granville. Wilma was born on March 8, 1932 on the family farm in rural Granville to Wilmer and Elizabeth (Pletsch) Stehl. She married Ralph Kneebone on July 18, 1953 at County Line Church, Peru. She graduated from Hopkins High School. Wilma was also a former secretary at Hopkins High School. She worked for Cedar Point Elevator and was a 4-H leader. She was a member and past president of Putnam County Athletic Boosters and she was also a member of OZO card club. Survivors are two sons, Randi (Pam) Kneebone of Granville and Bruce (Dora) Kneebone of Granville; four grandchildren, Damian Wachowiak, Ashley Kneebone, Andy Kneebone, Haleigh Kneebone; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Georgia Ann Stehl of St. Petersburg, FL; one sister-in-law, Edna Craven of Webster Park, IL and care giver, Marta Dagvasuren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ralph passed away on July 8, 2006. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Putnam County Achievement Center. Pallbearers will be Randi Kneebone, Bruce Kneebone, Damian Wachowiak, Ashley Kneebone, Andy Kneebone, Kevin Toovey and Haleigh Kneebone* studying abroad. Honorary Pallbearers are Jean Skutt, Shauna Greenwood and Marta Dagvasuren.
Service/Memorial Information
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Rev Roger Helgren will officiate. Burial will be in Granville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
