Zelda M. (Keegan) Craig, 84, formerly of rural Magnolia passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Heartland Health Care Center, Henry. Zelda was born on May 29, 1928 in Streator to Paul and Esther (Stonier) Snow. Zelda worked in Putnam County Schools and was the media center assistant. She was a member of Magnolia Legion Auxiliary, St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society, Putnam County Library Board and Putnam County Senior Center. She is survived by two sons, Lynn (Kate) Keegan of Hennepin, David (Julie) Keegan of Hennepin; two daughters, Carol Stadel of Henry, Joy (Doug) Sullivan of Chillicothe; one daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Keegan of LaSalle; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Keegan, her husband Robert Craig and her son, Kenneth, one son-in-law Jerry Stadel, two brothers and one sister. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kenneth, Sean, Joshua, Nicholas Keegan, Robert Stadel and great-grandson Tristan Keegan. Memorials may be directed to Putnam County Senior Center.
Service/Memorial Information
Services will be at 11 a.m., on Monday January 28th, 2013 at St, Mary's Catholic Church, Henry. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 27th, 2013 at Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville.
